Harry Reid (D-NV) is at it again, criticizing President Bush for what he perceives to be fiscal dereliction of duty.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) slammed President Bush for “fiscal dereliction of duty” Wednesday, accusing Bush of being “absent” from the fiscal crisis and noting that the president has given only two short statements on the country’s most serious economic convulsion in nearly 80 years.

Harry Reid, you’re an ass. It’s the job of Congress to spend the money, not the President. If you spent half as much time actually learning about your job as you did shilling for the Democratic party you might actually understand that.

Furthermore, although President Bush certainly isn’t blameless in this fiasco, Congress is at least as much blame, likely much more, than the President. Congress brought the political pressure to bear on lenders to force them, for the sake of political correctness and keeping key voting blocs intact, to lend money to large numbers of people that otherwise wouldn’t have qualified for loans due to poor credit. Don’t act surprised that the loans are now being defaulted on, Harry.

And one more thing, Harry — if you and your buddies in Congress hadn’t been raiding the social security trust fund for the past 30 years, in addition to spending trillions of dollars that didn’t exist, this current financial mess probably wouldn’t even quallify as a hand-wriging “crisis.” If there’s no money left to spend, Harry, you and your cohorts are solely to blame.

So Harry, I urge you to shut up and get out of the way. Let the financial folks fix the problem first. There will be plenty of time for juvenile political mud-slinging later. Hopefully you’ll actually understand what’s going on by that point, because you certainly don’t get it now.

And once this mess is cleaned up, I don’t think I’d be going out on a limb to predict that you and your cohorts might have some trouble winning re-election. It’s people like YOU that have destroyed our economy, Harry, and the American people, contrary to what you may think, have a long memory when they get screwed over by members of the “criminal class” such as yourself.
